In particular, in the Philippines, where efforts have been delayed, fragile public transportation has become a major social and economic problem.
Assemblepoint will deploy electric minibuses designed to navigate the crowded small backstreets typical of most Asian urban areas. At the same time, each city will be proposed to reorganize the current urban traffic, which is covered by private cars and various old vehicles, and to systematically replace them with electric vehicles. The electric minibus plays a role as an EV that takes the last mile in it.
The electric minibus will be introduced first in the Philippines and will eventually be rolled out to Japan and other Asian countries.
Assemblepoint also hopes to contribute to the development of the Philippine electric vehicle industry by sourcing parts locally and manufacturing electric vehicles locally.
